What the message looks like
90253: Attribute child_parent_sku_relationship is missing.What does it mean?
A variation, such as a colour or size, belongs to a parent product on Amazon. You pass that relationship in the field child_parent_sku_relationship, together with the variation theme. Without it Amazon does not know where the variation belongs. This code is not in Amazon's public documentation; we see it in the error lists of feed tools.
What causes it?
- Variations and parents run through separate channels, and the relationship is not set up in the channel for the variations.

In the channel for your variations, set up the relationship with the parent: the parent SKU and the relationship type (variation).

Map the parent SKU field to the source field that says which parent the variation belongs to, and choose the variation theme per product family.
